It was Friday morning. And this is what He said, “You are not fighting flesh and blood. You are fighting principalities and powers and higher. In order to do that you must come up higher and then higher and then higher and higher again. Your prayer must extend and lift you up. Up above the power of the enemy and up above his realm. Until you are soaring high like an eagle. So come up here. Come up here. And rise above it. Rise above like a plane ascends higher and higher to overcome the storm. For you do not battle in the storm, you arise.”
And then He took me to Jude and I’m going to read it from the Amplified. It was one of the scriptures He told me. Jude, there is only one chapter. And I read. He gave me the scripture below this, but I read all the way from 19.
“19 It is these who are [agitators] setting up distinctions and causing divisions—merely sensual [creatures, carnal, worldly-minded people], devoid of the [Holy] Spirit and destitute of any higher spiritual life. 20 But you, beloved, build yourselves up [founded] on your most holy faith [make progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher], praying in the Holy Spirit; 21 Guard and keep yourselves in the love of God; expect and patiently wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah)—[which will bring you] unto life eternal.”
And then when He said, “Rise up, rise up. Rise up.” There is a knowing of who we are that makes us rise up. When you know who you are, you rise up. When you know that you have authority, then you take your ground. When you know what is yours, you know how to defend it. Whether it’s our country. Whether it’s your family. Whether it is your relationships. You can rise up in authority. We rise up. He’s talking about having a key of the house. It’s talking about the key of the house of David. I will lay upon His shoulders, and He shall open, and no one shall shut the door. He shall shut and no one shall open. When God moves, He tells His prophets first. Isaiah knew what was going to happen when Jesus came. He came back to bring back the authority. The key. He was going to rise up. And He was going to take His place so that in Him we now have our place. I thought it was interesting when I was reading Isaiah 22:17-19.
And the prophet Isaiah said, “17 Behold, the Lord will hurl you away violently, O you strong man; yes, He will take tight hold of you and He will surely cover you [with shame]. 18 He will surely roll you up in a bundle [Shebna] and toss you like a ball into a large country; there you will die and there will be your splendid chariots, you disgrace to your master’s house! 19 And I will thrust you from your office, and from your station will you be pulled down.”
And I could hear the prophet speaking. God is going to remove you from office. This is not going to be just about an election vote thing. This is going to be God. And I like that word hurl. Because God doesn’t just say, “Hey slide over. Hey scoot over.” No, He’s going to send the ones that are in the office that they don’t belong into another atmosphere. Another realm where they have no authority, none. Our part is to raise up in authority with the keys of David that have been given to us because of Jesus. Rise up. We rise up. And we rise up. In the Old Testament, we see it, actually played out in the natural of what happens in the spiritual in the New Testament. So, we are in the spirit. So, we arise above. You know when we’re in a plane, and I’ve been in several, where you might have, where the plane might have a storm cloud or storm region. And the plane will just get the coordinates and he’ll fly above it until he can descend without the storm. And I do believe that is what the Lord is calling us up for. There’s a storm ahead and He’s saying, “Rise up, these are your coordinates.” And He’s saying, “I want you to be equipped and know who you are so you can rise up above the storm.” Because you can see the storm. You know when you’re in an airplane, you can see it. You can see the formation of it. You can see lightning through it. The clouds. You can see it all. But you’re not affected by it. And I do believe that is what the Lord is saying in this time. There is a storm coming but if you will choose to rise above. Rise up in the Spirit. Tune your ears to the coordinates where He wants you. Then you will not be affected by the storm. Because we belong to Him. Hallelujah.
